Maximize Your Profits With The Landing Page

www.BumMarketGuide.net

There is no need for one to have brilliant programming skills to be able to create a simple landing page for Bum Marketing.

The easiest way to do this would be to set up a blog at Blogger.com. It’s free and again, idiot-proof. Just follow the instructions on the site and you can have a blog up and running in a few minutes.

The advantage of using Blogger over other blogging platforms is that Blogger allows you to place ads and affiliate links on your blogs.

Of course, more advanced bum marketers use their own domain and hosting for their websites or landing pages. This will have its own advantages but no need to expound on that here. When you are just starting out, there is really no need for this. More than one bum has reported that even a simple blog serves its purpose and that they have earned thousands of affiliate commissions without paying for a domain name and hosting.

Your landing page should be more of a content page where the visitor can either read useful content where you insert your affiliate links. The purpose here is to pre-sell to the buyer so that when he or she clicks on your link and lands on the merchant’s page, he is already conditioned to buy the product. No need for a long dramatic dissertation here. A few words about the product or the niche in general is sufficient. Avoid hard selling. If you would like to put up a review of the product, it is always best to come out like you’re doing an unbiased review.

Some bum marketers use an opt-in form for their landing page. This is also a very effective technique as you can build a list and could sell to that list again and again in the future.

Write A Powerful Marketing Article

www.BumMarkeingGuide.net

Besides using articles for landing page content, it is the very essence of the bum marketing method to use them for submission to article directories. Its purpose? To gain a higher ranking in the search engines. It’s simple, really. When you’re on top of Google, you get more visitors. And more traffic means more sales.

It is always essential, but sometimes a challenge, to write successful well-researched articles for bum marketing. In this chapter, you will learn how to do this even with limited research time.

Articles have become one of the most powerful tools in promoting websites, promoting products and affiliates and ultimately, in drawing traffic to your site, as mentioned. However, not all or any article will do for bum marketing. Furthermore, as far as writing is concerned, once they have started with writing articles for purposes of article marketing, writers are bound to find out too soon that web content and article marketing is an entirely different thing from writing for a school organ, or a diary, or dissertations, or even for a newspaper column for that matter. In article marketing, many dimensions of the article have to be considered if a writer is to produce a successful, traffic-attracting article for bum marketing.

When you write an article, make sure that your key phrases are included in the title and in the content. You also have to write a relevant article that can hold the interest of the readers and is informative at the same time.

To make your article writing more efficient, you may follow this simple guideline:

In the first paragraph of your article, inform them what you're going to talk about in the article. The purpose of your article may also be stated in the introduction.

In the body of the article, tell them what it is you're talking about. Never forget to insert the keywords as articles with high-density keywords will help your article get indexed in Google.

Then in closing, simply give a recap and tell them what you just told them.

You do not have to write articles in essay fashion. You can write a really effective article in 300 to 500 words through a simple pattern in the style of tips, frequently asked questions, and review articles. This way, you are able to write an interesting and informative article in a short amount of time. Remember, we are all lazy bums here!

The good thing about writing bum articles – or any article for that matter – is that most of the information you will ever need is already ready and waiting for you right at the click of your fingertips. Almost all niches or topics known to men and beasts have already been covered – and covered well - by some other writer-researcher and the only thing left for a bum marketer to do is to choose your keywords well, collate information, dissect, categorize, organize these information, add your own personal insights with your own keywords, and rewrite these into one relevant and unique content. Voila! You have your very own keyword-, information-laden article without even duplicating a single sentence from your source articles. After all, we don’t want to steal other writer’s hard labor. That’s simply not the way of a bum marketer.

Here is a more thorough step-by-step look at how it’s done:

Select all the keywords which you want to write articles on – Gather all ideas and information on the particular topic. Where else could you find a better source of information than in article directories, in FAQs sites and even in forums? Again, we are not advocating the stealing of other people’s works here. Do not copy even a single sentence. We are after combined and collated ideas that have been previously thought of, yet, could still be reinvented to be seen in another paradigm – yours.

Collating, dissecting, organizing and rewriting information – Sifting through several sources of information could be a tedious – not to mention mind-boggling – task. Yet it is one that has to be done by any bum marketer and it has to be done well. A good thing would be to open a separate notepad and write down major ideas you may want to incorporate into your own article. Use several sources to build up your article.

Writing your article – Once the details and the sequencing of ideas are done, writing your article should be so easy you’d wonder how you came to be such a brilliant writer!

Adding the title – Titles are one of the major things that can make or break your article as far as bum marketing is concerned. Catchy, controversial and daring titles are the ones that work best. Between “All About Writing” and “The Three Secrets of Article Writing Every Bum Marketer Should Find Out,” which title do you think would draw more readers – and hold them until the article’s last words? Titles should be specific, cater to a particular reader and must contain the keyword that you are trying to optimize for the search engines.

Writing the bio box – The most important thing that should be found in your bio box is not your name and the series of Ph.Ds after but the links to your website. Since most article directories prohibit inclusion of links and sales pitches in the article body, the bio box is usually where bum marketers attract traffic by adding psychologically glaring phrases like “Get your free sample,” “Sign up for FREE,” “Download for FREE,” and “FREE Preview of.” Also remember to link your anchor text to your site. Of course, it would also help if you make it look as if the author (that’s you) is an authority on the topic which the article is about.

When you make the articles, you need to make sure that they are written well enough to be published and that it persuades the reader to click the link to your website in the bio box. Whatever it is you are writing on, you can be sure to draw in hundreds or even thousands of visitors to your website when they find your articles worth reading.

So now you’re getting a hint on why bum marketing is also called article marketing with a fresh twist. Article marketing involves writing articles so that you can get backlinks to your own site. This boosts your page rank, which refers to a ranking of the importance of a site. The higher the rank, the higher the chances of being indexed in the major search engines, especially Google, and the higher the chances of your site appearing first on the list when any surfer searches for your keyword! Are you now beginning to see the relationship between keywords, articles and page ranks?

Here are a few more pointers when writing your articles:

keyword density in the article must be between 1% and 3% (articles with less density than that are more likely to be considered irrelevant by search engines)
it should be a mix of fun and knowledge
avoid boring your readers
don’t reveal everything (this way the reader is still more likely to look at your bio box and go to your website)
jazz up your article with a dash of humor and wit (to make your article appealing and entertaining to read)

When you’re done writing your articles, these have to be submitted to the major article directories. To mention a few, there’s EzineArticles, GoArticles & Searchwarp. These high PR sites offer maximum exposure for your article and will easily get your article indexed by the major search engines.
Now, with these steps done, all you have to do is wait for the fruitful returns of your babies (articles) – the generation of more, more and more income through bum marketing!

TIP: For extremely lazy bums who refuse to write a word, much less a whole article, you can outsource your article writing for as low as $5/article. Just be sure that your ghostwriter follows the successful article writing formula outlined in this ebook.

Make Money Online At Home: Choosing Your Product

Let’s take it one baby step at a time.

In this section, you will learn how to choose a profitable niche. There will be a lot to choose from and this may be a little confusing at the onset but certain criteria will be followed. It is actually just a numbers game. Like in any other business, we look at the figures first.

If the numbers look right, it’s a go. If not, we move on to another niche.

First, you need to download a free keyword research tool called Good Keywords. If you dislike to download any software, you can also go use NichebotClassic. Basically, we need to find out how many searches a keyword gets in a month and compare that to the competition.

As an example, let’s take the key phrase “how to relieve sinus headache”. It gets around 41 searches in a month. Not much, but then look at the competition. Type the same keyword phrase in quotes in Google and you see only 8 competing sites! It simply means that the lesser the competition, the better. Now we have the keyword.

You can always find variations to your phrase. There’s also “how to relieve sinusitis”, “get rid of sinus headache” and such related terms. There’s always a great chance that you find several good keywords in a certain niche so take note of all of those.

Although we get many eureka moments when we find such keywords, it is always advisable to start out researching 3-5 niches in the beginning. This way, we can compare which niche is the most profitable and concentrate all your bum marketing efforts on that.

Another thing we need to do is to check the Adwords ads that Google displays on the right hand side of the web page when we do a search for our keyword. It is an indication that money is being generated in the niche where you just did a search on.

So now you have your niches and your keywords. The next logical step is to find products in that particular niche.

You will want to find affiliate products you can promote for your niche. For this purpose, you can go to Clickbank, where you can begin marketing affiliate products. But first you need to find a good product to earn money from. You have options in choosing the best product to promote. You can go for new products, those with low popularity, or the ones with the most commission. Clickbank is not the only place where you can find affiliate programs. Other places you can go to are Commission Junction, PayDotCom, LinkShare and Shareasale. Many vendors also run their own affiliate programs. You can search for your niche topic in Google and then take a look at some of the merchants’ websites you find to see if they provide an affiliate program where you can sign up and earn commissions from.

There are also several other affiliate program directories where you could start looking for new products to promote. The two best known are AssociatePrograms.com AffiliateMatch.com. These are both very essential resources where you can get ideas on which affiliate programs would appeal to you.

Now, you have your niche, your keywords and affiliate program options.

Let’s move on to the next section to see where these three should lead to next… the landing page.
